Black and white photo of the Monumental bronze portal of access to the Cathedral of Amalfi, Italy, built in Constantinople around the year 1060. The jambs are of marble and made a century later; the door has the symbolic meaning of access to Paradise and is surmounted by a fresco depicting Sant'Andrea.
